Here we wish to allow smaller groups to meet with some of our field’s leading scholars to obtain guidance about how to negotiate the rocky shoals of a scholarly life.  How do we seek new ideas, forge research collaborations and build invisible colleges, or craft a manuscript, then resolve differences and negotiate with reviewers?  How do we manage conference participation to best effect? How do we balance research, consulting and activism?  What shapes does scholarship assume over the career course?
